  • Year you graduated from EDS:  2016

  • Where are you now? Pinecrest High School

  • What do you miss about EDS?  I miss the close student-teacher bond, and I miss the awesome school-wide activities like International Day and Awesome Autumn

  • What are some of your successes/accomplishments?  In middle school I received the President’s Excellence award and the Most Artistic Student award.  I participated on robotics and engineering teams and at STEM events.  I was fortunate to receive writing awards from Weymouth Center and awards for the Arts Council of Moore County Student Art show.  I was a member of Beta Club and enjoyed playing field hockey.

  • Organizations/Clubs: I am a member of the Pinecrest Speech and Debate Team, and I play field hockey for Pinecones Field Hockey and golf for The First Tee.

  • Advice for future Gators:  EDS gives a strong foundation for middle school and high school courses.  For example, the techniques and lessons I learned from Mrs. P in art are still relevant and were taught in much more advanced art classes.  I was glad that I had learned them earlier.
