  • Share some of your successes / accomplishments since EDS? I am a student on scholarship in the Honors College at UNC. Due largely to the strong educational foundation I received at EDS, I will be graduating in the spring with a double major in philosophy and economics. I am currently working on my senior honors thesis in philosophy. I have recently acquired a penchant for German language/literature, which brought me to Germany over the past summer for study abroad. Next year, I will either be starting a career or taking a gap year (perhaps two) before graduate school.

  •  Share organizations or clubs in which you have membership or support? I have been a DJ and manager at UNC’s student radio station, WXYC 89.3 FM, since 2017. For roughly the same amount of time, I have been an Undergraduate Fellow and blog editor at the Parr Center for Ethics within the UNC philosophy department.

  •  Share any advice that you have for current students or families at EDS. Keep faith, love, and a thirst for knowledge close to your heart.

“The nearer a soul is truly united to God, the more its sensibilities are increased to every being of His Creation; much more to those whom it is bound to love by the tenderest and most endearing ties.”
