Kelley Adams

My name is Kelley Adams, and I am beyond thrilled to join the EDS family.  This upcoming school year will be my first at Episcopal Day School; however, my 24th year in education.  Each class and school year has been different throughout my career.  I love the beauty of every class I have served and educated, and I promise to love our 1st-grade family this year.  My experience ranges from teaching all grade levels, PreK to 6th grade, except 3rd, for which I hope to teach someday.  Along with teaching in the classroom, my experience includes being a long-term substitute teacher, Physical Education teacher, Varsity Coach, Director of Preschool, Assistant Athletic Director, and Lower School Division Head.  I am originally from Kansas City, attended the University of Kansas and Kansas State University, and received a Bachelor of Science in Education with an area of concentration in Science and Human Growth and Child Development.  My educational journey allowed me opportunities to teach in Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, Maryland, Kansas, and North Carolina.  My outside interests include exercising, gardening, listening to music, reading, watching a good movie or sports event, dabbling in decorating, and playing sports for fun.  I love and adore my three children, two college-age daughters and a son in High School.  Connecting with your child, our classroom, and the entire EDS school community will be an honor.  Go Gators!
