Jadie Waller

Hello, I am Jadie Waller and I am thrilled to be returning to Episcopal Day School this year. My philosophy on teaching is based on a quote by Dr. O Ivarr Lovaas, "if they can't learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn." I am grateful and happy to teach and nurture each child. As a native Texan, I earned my Bachelors in Business Administration and minor in Marketing and joined corporate America. Once my husband and I were blessed with our daughter, Zoey; I knew that I would want a career change. I enrolled and graduated from the the A+ Texas Teachers Alternative Certification program and immediately began teaching in Special Education. I have taught all grade levels as the teacher of record and as an inclusion teacher for K-12th grade ELA and Math. In my experiences I have learned that each child has a unique learning behavior that I strive to find and focus on independently with each student. I love teaching, hanging out on the lake, wake surfing, knee boarding, sunbathing, boating, DIY home projects, holiday decor, vintage designer pieces, and Starbucks coffee. Our family has enjoyed making North Carolina our new home.
