Lisa Gessner

Hi! I’m Lisa Gessner and I’m very happy to be starting my 18th year as the Music Teacher at EDS. I’m a singer/songwriter and I got my degree in Music Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston.  After college, I traveled all over the US and Europe, singing with many different bands. I wrote and recorded a CD of Fruit of the Spirit songs for the kids here at EDS.  Last summer, I finished Level II of the Orff Schulwerk course at UNCW. I’m married to a photographer, John, and we have two sons, Devon and London,  both of whom graduated from EDS.
