Kristy Pfeiffer

Hi everyone.  My name is Kristy Pfeiffer. I am thrilled to be here at Episcopal Day School. This will be my first year here; however, it is not my first year as a teacher. I began teaching many years ago and have taught in many different states and schools. I have held various state certifications and taken numerous graduate courses to stay current in the teaching field. I have had the luxury of teaching several different ages and grades and have been blessed to teach in Christian schools.

My belief is that God calls teachers to Christian schools as a teaching ministry.  The students watch a Christian teacher’s life closely, and they can and do discern His truth through those observations. Students will remember those teachers who demonstrated God’s love, honored Him, provided spiritual leadership and taught with mastery in all subjects in a loving and caring atmosphere. I am a member of First Baptist Church of Pinehurst.  I am a parent of two grown children. (My daughter is a fifth-grade teacher, and my son is a supply chain analyst.) I am and have been involved in supporting ministries for many years. I have co-led small groups, taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, led “Home groups” and currently support several missionaries. I love to read, play word games and cards, walk, dance, and visit with friends. I will lead by example and leave this verse with you. “When a child has been fully trained, he will become like his teacher”, Luke:6:40.
