Frances Crickmore

Hi, I’m Frances Crickmore.  I’m a 1987 East Carolina University graduate.  Go Pirates!  This is my nineteenth-year teaching at Episcopal Day School.  Before the Lord led me to EDS, I taught for seventeen years (primarily in middle school) in eastern North Carolina, western North Carolina, and northeast Georgia.  Both of my children are EDS alumni.  My oldest, Ike, lives in Atlanta, working for Schindler Elevator.  My daughter, Mary Gray, (a Lifetime Gator) is studying Environmental Science and Zoology at NC State University.  I feel that my background in middle school education in private, public, and parochial schools has prepared me to help prepare our EDS 5th graders for what lies ahead.  I truly love my job, and strive to form lasting relationships with the families with whom I work.  I live in Southern Pines with my husband, Curtis, of thirty-three years, and my seven year old blond Labrador Retriever, Dewey, and his feline buddy, Captain.  I enjoy walking Dewey, and spending time with family and friends at our weekend getaway house on the Pungo River.
