Ashleigh Mann

As I begin my 10th year of teaching, I am very excited to teach another year at EDS. I am a military spouse with three children: Annabelle-14, Jacob-11, and Ethan-8. I graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts Education with a minor in Classical Humanities. As a 5th grade teacher, my goal is to build upon my students’ elementary years and prepare them for middle school. I always strive to instill a deeper love of learning and a desire for reading and writing in my students. The majority of my teaching has been at the middle school level teaching reading and composition. When I am not at school, I am gardening, reading a book, or cheering on my children at a soccer, baseball, or volleyball game. We also enjoy hiking and camping together as a family.  I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade reading and social studies.
