Episcopal Day School at a Glance

Since its modest beginning in 1959, Episcopal Day School has been providing exceptional education in a Christian environment to children from age three through grade 5. It is known throughout the area for its long-standing commitment to each child and for preparing each one to become enlightened citizens of the 21st century.

Its campus, in the Sandhills region of North Carolina, spans over four acres on the historic grounds of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.  The facilities include 18 classrooms, a lunch room, a library and computer center, a music room, an art room, a world language room, a multi-use common room, two playgrounds, soccer field, and the church’s beautiful Anglican-like sanctuary.

Episcopal Day School has always been committed to providing appropriate and current technology for students and teachers.  Currently EDS is making a significant investment as it updates, enhances, and expands  its technology throughout campus.

The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools. It is also a member in good standing of The North Carolina Association of Independent Schools, and The National Association of Episcopal Schools. All students, regardless of race, religious beliefs, and orientation are welcome at Episcopal Day School.
