The
Episcopal Day School PTA is proud to be an integral part of students' learning
experience. With our parents' help, the students' education and environment
are greatly enriched. The closer this relationship, the more the learning
environment is strengthened.
The PTA hosts a number
of special events every year, including the annual Awesome Autumn Festival,
the Candlelight Home Tour, International
Day, May Day and a school book fair. Proceeds from general fund raising
activities are used to enrich the curriculum and the campus itself.
Families are strongly
encouraged to join the PTA which also functions as a liaison between
parents, faculty and the school administration. The more involved each
family becomes, the more every student benefits.
Volunteer Opportunities
Gift Wrap, Awesome Autumn,
Movie Night, Candlelight Tour, Performing Arts, May Day, International Day,
Penick Outreach, Teacher Appreciation, Field Day, the list goes on and on. The
EDS PTA sponsors and assists with a variety of programs throughout the school

beautiful smiles! If you would like to get involved, please contact a PTA

Fundraising With Innisbrook Wraps
The PTA sponsors a variety of
fundraising opportunities throughout the year to raise money for the benefit of
our school and its students. Innisbrook Wraps is our fall fundraiser with
50% of the sales coming back to our school. Parents and friends may
purchase items from Innisbrook throughout the year by clicking on the link below
and using our school number: 105395 so that we receive credit. Don't forget, if you order more than
$60.00 you will receive free shipping. Thanks for your support!
Teacher
Appreciation
Each year the PTA
sponsors a variety of opportunities to thank our teachers for all they do for
Episcopal Day School. This year these include providing refreshments for their
weekly staff meetings, lunches during teacher in service days, and providing
each teacher with a parent liaison to help them in their classrooms or provide
special gifts for them throughout the year. Available dates for lunches and
meeting refreshments are available on the PTA bulletin boards located outside
the main office and on the kindergarten hall.
Awesome Autumn Festival
Awesome Autumn is a PTA sponsored
event for the students at Episcopal Day School. Everyone is encouraged
to come in costume and purchase tickets to play games and enjoy the evening. There are
numerous booths for games, a haunted house and a cake walk.
Everyone loves this fun fall event!
International Day
International Day is
celebrated each spring. The PTA is the sponsor and organizer for this special
day. Activities, speakers, music, art, food and entertainment all focus
on one country allowing children to learn about, and experience, a new
culture. This year we will be celebrating the country of Mexico. This is a fun and educational event for the students so mark your
calendars and make plans to help out with your child's classroom booth!
May Day
May Day is a fun family picnic
night. The third grade girls perform the traditional May Pole Dance, while
the third grade boys present the flag and the pledge of allegiance.
Dinner, games and snowcones add to the evening's fun. So sit back, relax
and enjoy.... a good time
is had by all!
