The Twenty-ninth Annual EDS Candlelight Tour of Homes will be held Sunday, December 2rd, 2007 from 1 pm until 6pm. This year’s tour features a variety of homes from across the Southern Pines and Pinehurst area, each uniquely decorated for the holidays. Talented local musicians, singers, and chefs will also be highlighted in several of the residences.
Tickets for the Candlelight Tour are available for $20.00 at the door of each tour home or for $15.00 in advance from any Episcopal Day School Student, the EDS office, At Home, Cook's Choice, Nature's Own, Cool Sweats, The Country Bookstore in Southern Pines. Each year we kick off " Candlelight Weekend" with a festive auction showcasing student-made items as well as items donated by EDS families and local businesses. This spectacular event features both a live and silent auction and offers over two hundred items to bid on. Some of our favorite items include: jewelry, beach and mountain vacations, and sports memorabilia. This year's auction will be held at the Pinehurst Fair Barn on Friday, November 16, 2007. The auction is open to the public and tickets may be purchased at the door the night of the event. Tickets are $25 per person. For more information, call the school at 692-3492.
