« Mrs. Davis & Mrs. Harrison’s 2nd graders are learning about Sound in Science. We are also busy learning our math facts and regrouping. We are also “Teaching Peace” for MLK Jr. Day.
Fourth graders are reading the Phantom Toll Booth. Learning literal vs. figurative meanings. We are writing biographies and working on adjectives in grammar. In Science we are studying rock and minerals and in Math we are working on equivalent, proper, improper and mixed numbers and reading and writing fractions. »

Third graders are making maps of our community, reading Pippi Longstocking. They have also finished cursive and will soon be writing only in cursive. Math finds them busy learning square roots and multiplication in math. The STAR Math program has also started. In Science we are dissecting owl pellets and learning about Food Chains and Food Webs.
